Arsenale Pavillion

Intelligent Venice

The oldest city of the future. Special Project of the Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità / Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF) for the 2025 Architecture Biennale.

The installation covers an area of 500 square meters and includes over 5000 archive images; more than 1000 historical maps from the most authoritative databases; over 3 hours of video projections; 5 interactive multimedia panels. To provide connectivity, we had to use Optical Fiber wherever possible, followed by the last 500 meters via a radio link. We were still able to deliver 500 Mbps symmetric (upload and download) and an LTE backup with 400 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload.

We provide the following services:

• Procurement through external companies for the positioning of the radio antenna for the link.

Arsenale Pavillion

For the 19th International Architecture Exhibition at the Biennale Architettura 2025, we provided a new, robust Internet connection, encompassing both wired and wireless infrastructure, specifically for participants Takashi Ikegami and Luc Steels, whose work focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Their installation, titled the “android lab,” features live AI experiments centered around the Alter3 humanoid robot. This robot is equipped with advanced components for perception, actuator control, and episodic memory. Visitors are invited to determine for themselves whether they believe the Alter3 android exhibits a form of self-awareness.

Austria Pavillion

Untitled (Telephone Booths) 

For the 60th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale 2024, we were honored to collaborate with M+B studio and the artist Anna Jermolaewa on a project that required both advanced technical skills and deep sensitivity. We made the telephone communication of the original booths of the Traiskirchen refugee camp in Austria, installed within the Austrian Pavilion, technically possible. These spaces, laden with history and asylum seekers’ notes, transform into a powerful emotional capsule, offering an immersive and moving experience for visitors. A project that also deeply touched us at VN2.

British Pavillion

During the restoration of the British Pavilion, we implemented the entire connectivity infrastructure. This included an initial survey to strategically position access points, ensuring they remained discreet while providing comprehensive coverage across both floors. We installed a  1Gbps fiber optic line to guarantee sufficient bandwidth during the opening, which sees high demand from the press, and to ensure stability and power for video-intensive exhibitions. We also provide ongoing support to artists and installers each year.

Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, Palazzina Canonica CNR-ISMAR

Collateral Event of the 60th International Art Exhibition .The project includes sonic sculptures and a new film scored by Fatima al Qadiri, displayed on a curved LED wall. The film blends 3D animation and footage from aquariums into a circular narrative of creation, transformation and resurgence. It features a cast of interspecies characters synthesised using AI and other digital tools, including 3D models of marine life.
